Intro to Pistol Shooting and Safe Handling
Intro to Pistol Shooting and Safe Handling course is geared towards those with very little to no pistol experience. This course starts with one hour of instruction on how your pistol operates, how to clean and maintain it, and how to handle it safely. The course continues with a second hour of instruction at the local shooting range. With the direct supervision and instruction from Tilson Defense, we will practice everything that was taught in the first hour of instruction which will include live fire training and additional marksmanship training.
The two one hour sections of this course can be scheduled consecutively, or separately with the instruction section being scheduled on a different day from live fire section.
The cost of this course is $85 plus sales tax. 100rds of ammunition are needed for this course. The student is welcome and encouraged to bring their own firearm. If the student needs a firearm and/or ammunition provided to them, Tilson Defense will furnish a Glock 19 pistol for an additional $25 for both sections of training, and ammunition can be sold to the customer by Tilson Defense for the normal retail price ($44 plus sales tax for 100rds of 9mm as of 04-18-2022).

One-On-One Pistol Coaching (1 hour)
One-On-One Pistol Coaching is a service offered by Tilson Defense to those who already know how to safely handle their firearm, and for the most part know how to shoot as well. This is for the customer that needs help learning how to shoot tighter groups, improve reload speed times, or how to shoot faster. As always, coaching is predicated upon the customer's goals for themselves.
Cost for a coaching session is $50 per hour of coaching. The customer is welcome and encouraged to bring their own firearm. If the customer needs a firearm and/or ammunition provided to them, Tilson Defense will furnish a Glock 19 pistol for an additional $25 for the coaching session, and ammunition can be sold to the customer by Tilson Defense for the normal retail price.
